Guided by Koni.Led by you.
KONI helps parents and caregivers bring Montessori into everyday home life, one observation and one thoughtful next step at a time.
You observe your child. KONI helps connect what you see to the Montessori sequence, so you can understand what they may be ready for, prepare what comes next, and keep learning alongside them. For children roughly 2½ to 6.
The child does the learning. You do the guiding.
KONI helps hold the pieces in between.
Montessori belongs in more homes than it reaches.
Montessori offers an extraordinarily thoughtful way of understanding children. But bringing it home can be difficult. There are sequences to understand, materials to prepare, observations to interpret, and hundreds of small decisions hidden inside a seemingly simple question:
What should I
offer next?
The method is not the hard part. Carrying it into an ordinary morning is — and no family should have to work that out alone. KONI keeps the sequence in view and shows the reasoning behind each step, so what comes next is there when you need it.
That is why KONI exists.
The method gives us a sequence.
The child tells us when.
Observe before you decide.
The child in front of you matters more than an age chart.
Sequence matters. So does timing.
Montessori work builds deliberately, but development is not a race.
The adult matters.
Technology can organise information. It cannot replace the relationship, judgment, or presence of the person who knows the child.
Real life counts.
Montessori at home does not need to look like a classroom. It should keep the purpose of the work while respecting the reality of family life.
Built from the guide’s side of the table.
Could technology hold the parts of Montessori that are difficult for a parent to hold alone, without stepping into the relationship between adult and child?
KONI was created by a Montessori educator who has spent years working with children, guiding families, and helping parents carry Montessori from the prepared classroom into real homes. Again and again the same thing appeared: a family could have a whole library of Montessori lessons and still be left wondering which one to offer, when, and why.
KONI began with that question.
A Montessori guide holding an AMI diploma, with a master’s in early childhood education, a background in psychology, and years in classrooms and homes.
Montessori has always begun with observation.
You don’t begin by asking the app what your child should do. You begin by watching your child. What are they returning to? What is becoming easier? Where are they slowing down? What seems to frustrate them? What are they trying to do without help? Those small observations are the starting point for what KONI helps you think about next.

Observation first.
Recommendation second.
Technology stays behind the adult.
KONI can remember the sequence, organise observations, surface connections, prepare a week, and explain why a lesson may fit. It cannot look into your child’s eyes. It cannot feel the mood in the room. It cannot know that everyone slept badly, that a sibling needs you, or that today simply isn’t the day.
KONI can hold
- the sequence
- your observations
- lesson history
- preparation
- patterns over time
Only you can see
- the room
- the mood
- the relationship
- the moment
- the child
KONI sees the record.
You see the child.
When the two disagree, your observation leads.
It never replaces what it points at.
The observation is yours. The relationship is yours. The judgment about your child, on this day, in this room, is yours.
No child-facing app
The app is for the adult. The work stays in the real world.
No grades or percentiles
No tests and no comparison to another child. Progress is recorded through experience, practice, and growing independence.
No curriculum race
Nobody is behind. The plan bends to your family, not the other way round.
No substitute for a guide
A trained guide and a prepared classroom offer something software cannot recreate.
A thoughtful education shouldn’t disappear when the nearest Montessori school is too far away.
Many families don’t have a Montessori school nearby, or a place in one, or the tuition, or trained support, or any way to recreate a classroom at home. KONI exists to make thoughtful Montessori guidance reachable, without pretending that software is a Montessori school.
KONI is for the families bringing Montessori into kitchens, living rooms, apartments, homeschool rooms, grandparents’ homes, and wherever childhood is actually happening.

It has always begun with observation.
KONI simply helps families carry what they observe into what comes next. Not to make children move faster. Not to turn Montessori into an app. To help more adults slow down, notice carefully, prepare thoughtfully, and trust the child a little more.
Guided by Koni.
Led by you.
